Garry is a CHRP Candidate, a member of the British Columbia Human Resources Management Association (BC HRMA), Co-Chair of the
BC HRMA Vancouver Training and Development Round Table and is on the BC HRMA PeopleTalk Magazine Editorial Advisory Group.
He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree
with a major in Computer Science from the University of Manitoba.
Over the years Garry has taken many courses in marketing, psychology, sociology and human behavior studies.
Garry continually participates in workshops to enhance his
skills to offer corporate coaching, consulting, and facilitate "Dynamic" Employee and Management
workshops.
He is the
owner of Mossa
International Inc.
Garry was born in Luton, England. However, he grew up in Winnipeg,
Canada and attended the University
of Manitoba before going
on to play professional basketball in Europe.
With over 20 years of experience working with large and small organizations, Garry understands
the diverse philosophies of businesses in regards to the needs of their
employee's, their client's needs and how important it is to continually enhance the relationship that exists between the three sides of this indispensable triangle.
Garry moved to the Vancouver area in September, 2005 after living
in Italy for 9 years. He did not know the Italian language
before moving to Italy, but quickly learned
it as he became immersed in Italian life and it's culture.
As a result of learning Italian he published a book written
in Italian. Garry has since published a second edition of the book in English and Italian and has had numerous excerpts from his book published in journals and newspapers. He is also a member of the Italian Canadian Writer's Association.
Recently Garry launched a line of inspirational and empowering stationery products. These items which are designed with his original phrases and quotes include, fridge magnets, greeting cards, bookmarks and book mark magnets. These can currently be found in numerous boutiques in British Columbia, Canada.
Garry knows first hand what it is like to live and communicate
across cultures while traveling to many countries
on both business and vacation.
